The role will be based in Tokyo and will have a mix of regional and global HR responsibilities in Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management and Business Partnering. The HR Director will work closely with the global HR team and the local executives to drive new initiatives forward. Depending on the person’s level, the role might also have a team of direct reports.
As the role is highly ambiguous, this company needs someone who is agile and can think big picture. He or she should also be able to focus on the details and have an international as well as a local mind-set. Bilingual language ability and previous experience working at a Japanese company will also be assets.
