The Company

We are working with a global Life Sciences company known for delivering cutting edge medical and healthcare solutions to its customers. This organization has seen tremendous success and growth and as a result continues to invest heavily into their HR function delivering best in class HR systems and processes to the US business. To support this journey, it is seeking a seasoned Global HR Divisional Lead to work closely with both the VP HR and contribute to building the future HR strategy for this growing domestic client group. This role will be based in Seattle, WA.

The Role

Reporting directly to the VP of HR, the HR Director will provide operational and strategic HR business partnership to a rapidly growing US client group. The individual will contribute to the design and implementation of HR policies, processes, programs, and protocols for a global client group and play the lead role in developing and managing the people strategy to align with the business strategy and deliver against business needs. Partnering closely with the Senior Leadership team and their direct reports, key will be to build platforms to address recruiting needs, develop talent management, workforce planning and rewards strategies, and also foster a culture of urgency, collaboration, innovation and rigor. Leveraging relationships across the CoEs and broader HR function, you will ensure alignment between the people strategy and the business imperatives.  

The Individual

The successful applicant will demonstrate experience partnering with senior executives through large-scale organization changes or significant growth, preferably in medium sized R&D medical, pharmaceutical, and/or biotech organizations. The individual will excel in ambiguity and embrace change and innovation at every turn. It is essential to build trust with all levels and demographics of employees and stakeholders, not just leadership. together with some time spent in more entrepreneurial and mid-sized environments is desirable. Of critical importance is the ability to build and scale up HR processes to support the growth of the business.
