The company has recently undergone an exciting acquisition, which has enabled the North America business to focus more sharply on its key area of expertise - providing first-class customer solutions. The HR leadership team is focused on building its HR business partnering capability, and is looking for a high potential HR Lead to be responsible for the Midwestern region, based in Chicago.
We are looking for an experienced HR Leader who has a good understanding of Labor and Employee Relations and a background in the Logistics industry. Some 3PL experience would be ideal. Most important is a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and partner with business and HR colleagues. Some managerial experience would be beneficial. He or she should have a solid understanding of all traditional HR tools including staffing, organization design, performance management, HR measurement and legal compliance. Some Safety and Physical Security experience would be desirable. He or she should also be familiar enough with Labor Relations to read the signals and anticipate ER issues, so that these can be pre-empted and proactively handled.
