Our client is a global player providing industrial solutions across multiple regions. Headquartered in Europe and with a growing global population, the business is a recognizable brand and market leader. The Americas region is a core focus of its growth strategy in 2018 and houses a large industrial sales team which this role will need to support. With a strong talent philosophy, it is looking to hire a commercially minded North America HR Business Lead as part of the global talent HR pipeline. This role will be based in Dallas.

The Role

Reporting into the VP HR and working closely with the executive leadership team, the individual will be responsible for providing operational and strategic HR business partnership to the North America business both directly and through the CoEs. Leading a small HR team, you will provide clear direction and mentorship to your team with a focus on providing development opportunities to continue to raise HR’s level of capability. As a key member of the executive management team and a partner to the business, he/she will bring a broad business mind-set to the forefront of discussions to effectively drive people strategies in alignment with the core business strategies. With a high level of visibility globally, this person will also be contributing to global HR strategies and will play a lead role in delivering on global HR projects.  

The Individual

We are seeking a commercial and business savvy North America HR Business Lead with 10-12 years’ experience. It is essential that you will have previously lived and worked internationally with at least 3-5 years’ experience living and working in North America with a depth of functional expertise and good working knowledge of US labor laws. You will bring experience driving all people related conversations ensuring talent acquisition, talent management, diversity, and performance management are kept top of mind. You will thrive in a high energy sales culture and be comfortable having a seat at the table to influence and drive HR strategies. As a successor to the VP HR, it is critical that this person will be internationally mobile with the flexibility to relocate overseas in the future.
