Our client is a media group which specialises in communication, digital and media services. Headquartered in Europe, the organisation has gone through some M&A activities in the past few years and it’s ready to drive and promote a high performing culture. We are helping them to appoint a Head of HR for Hong Kong.
Reporting directly into the North Asia Head of HR, the company is determined to upgrade its HR function across Asia Pacific. The new HR organisation should work closely with the business, engage with senior stakeholders proactively and provide strategic HR advice. In the past, HR was perceived as an administrative function. However, the new HR organisation will look into employee engagement, succession planning, organisational culture, business partnering, and change. Covering a population of 300 in Hong Kong, the role will be supported by regional COE functions.
We are looking for an individual who has around 12-15 years of HR experience. You should have served a leadership team and therefore be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills. This is an HR Generalist role, so you should be comfortable handling HR operations. Lastly, you should have a “can-do” attitude and be ready to guide the leadership team.
