We are delighted to be working with this organisation on an exciting new phase of development as they continue to focus on further developing their people strategy and their HR offering in this growing and important yet complex business unit. As a broader business they have almost 30,000 people worldwide operating in almost 100 countries, and are well known for providing products and services in a creative, innovative and sustainable way contributing to the broader environment and with a dedicated ethos in adding value to global communities.
The role will lead a significant team of HR Business partners, enabling a unified HR organisation across the COE’s and HR Services for the bigger markets and more traditionally in the smaller locations given the lack of economies of scale. The population is around 4000 people with the bigger locations being Switzerland, Germany, the UK and Poland. The focus will be on driving the organisation and HR strategy, through influencing and taking a consultative and pragmatic approach with a multitude of business stakeholders. Whilst the roles report functionally into HR, there is a complex matrix structure in place and so the ability to build credibility quickly with many geographies will determine the overall success of this person. Whilst there is a definite need for an experienced HR Business Partner, there is also some expertise in Talent and Organisational Development required, along with experience in leading and developing a diverse HR team. It will be both an operational yet importantly strategic role working in a fast moving and complex environment.
You will need to be truly flexible, having had extensive regional and possibly global experience and preferably lived and worked in different locations with a track record in working very closely with various divisional heads across multiple geographies. Ideally you will have worked in a variety of different industries understanding Best in Class but being agile enough to work in an environment that is not fully developed from a HR organisational perspective. Importantly you will be able to operate in a fluid yet consistent manner, gaining quick wins and building credibility across the various stakeholders from the word go. You may be in Switzerland now, returning to Switzerland or happy to move, and ideally with some strong Swiss German language skills.
Unless the advertisement specifies otherwise, only HR Professionals who are legally able to work in this country can be considered.
