Our client is a fast-growing organization in the consumer goods space with revenues of more than US$8 Billion and a global population of more than 20,000. It has gone through significant transformation in the last 2 years and is now well positioned to capitalize on its core strengths. The SVP Human Resources is now looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to improve talent, learning and leadership development practices across the organization. This is a newly created role based in New Jersey and will require global travel.
Reporting to the SVP Human Resources, this role will define the strategy and have oversight of all Learning, Leadership Development, and Talent initiatives. This will require working closely with business leaders to understand where critical talent priorities exist and customize development plans to fit these demands. It means identifying and presenting quality data and metrics around competency gaps, demographics, talent and HIPO identification and using this information to make better talent decisions. Core duties will include the design and delivery (where needed) of customized training programs utilizing classroom, eLearning, and action learning strategies where appropriate and a focus on optimizing learning technologies. Furthermore, this role will drive efficiencies in Talent Management; to include enhancing global performance management processes, talent assessment and review initiatives on succession planning and building talent pipelines.
This role requires an established Learning and Development professional with a proven record of accomplishment delivering practical talent development solutions within large multinational organizations. Experience leading and shaping a global team through a period of significant change/transformation is high desirable as is evidence of global/international exposure. A good working knowledge of contemporary learning solutions and training programs is essential. Previous experience leading talent assessment and talent reviews is beneficial. Above all, strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence through collaboration to achieve business objectives is critical.
