Our client is going through a substantial structural and cultural transformation that has led to the need to upgrade its global Learning & Development offering across a population of more than 50,000 people in 60 countries. The organization is well known for its focus on providing high quality products to its broad customer base and the business drivers demand a highly skilled and innovative bench of talent at all levels in the company. This is a newly created role based in New Jersey and will require global travel.
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this highly strategic role is focused on assessing current learning and development needs and driving improvements in capability development at all levels across the organization. This means working closely with HR and Business leaders to build out comprehensive leadership development platforms, competency training programs and optimizing customer education. Key will be to introduce and enhance enterprise-wide eLearning and blended learning approaches and build external alliances to ensure the application of the latest learning methodologies and technologies. Notable responsibilities will include putting in place initiatives to measure learning effectiveness against business drivers and delivering programs for transition management; specifically, around leadership transition. This position will act as a figurehead for driving cultural transformation, where appropriate.
You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record as a head of learning and development for a large-scale, heavily matrix multinational organization. Experience within a fast paced and results oriented services organization is essential as is leading a learning function through a period of significant transformation. Proven hands-on exposure utilizing the latest technologies and e-learning platforms to enhance learning efficiencies is highly desirable. Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills are a prerequisite as is the ability to manage a team of skilled and ambitious learning professionals. We are looking for a leader who can give clear direction and support to their internal and external customers and who is well networked in and able to leverage the broader Learning community.
