The Company

Our client is a global technology services provider going through a sustained period of growth, driven by innovations in its technology offering to its customer base. Growth across the U.S is particularly strong off the back of recent acquisitions and talent additions to key parts of the business. To continue this trajectory, and to bring to bear the best talent in the market, the company looking to hire an experienced Head of Recruitment to lead talent acquisition efforts across all business groups and sites in the US. This role can be based in a number of key locations in the New York and Bay Area.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and supporting key business leaders, this individual will manage a team of five experienced technology recruiters and drive hiring strategies across all lines of business. He/She will assess the current efficiencies of the team and the preexisting RPO model and build a strategic plan to deliver against the needs of the business. Key responsibilities will include implementing core systems, processes and measurements across the recruiting platform and improving communication channels between key stakeholders to ensure awareness of talent gaps and pipelines. He/She will also support senior management with global projects and play a key role in the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS). To be successful in this role, you will build credibility with business leaders and functional experts and look beyond the recruitment cycle to foresee the impact of human capital on the business and its growth plans. This role suits an experienced technology recruiter who understands the challenges of identifying and accessing different talent pools across the U.S.  

The Individual

To succeed, the individual will need to possess strong leadership and people management qualities to drive large scale and high-volume recruitment plans across the US. Experience working in a RPO model or implementing an RPO or MSP would be a significant advantage. Our client is an organization rooted in stakeholder management and so the individual must be a strong business partner and effective collaborator. The right individual needs to be able to switch gears effectively between process and strategy, be capable of abstract thought and problem solving and drive continuous improvement using data analytics. He/She must come to the table with practical solutions to talent challenges and customize approaches for different labor markets. Previous experience recruiting in the Technology and/or Engineering space is preferred. A deep and well-versed knowledge of the US talent landscape is essential.
