The Company

We have been working closely with this key multi-billion dollar industrial and manufacturing client during a period of transformation that has led to the creation of new opportunities in the HR team. Some of these opportunities have arisen because of the need to upskill and upgrade key functions supporting the Corporate Headquarters. The current search for a new HR Director is a continuation of this approach and is a key hire for the organization. This role will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Role

Reporting to an experienced Global Vice President of HR and working closely with both HR and business leaders across corporate functions and operations business units, this individual will implement and executive all tactical aspects of the HR function. This will include Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, HRIS deployment and managing compliance employee relations and compliance matters. Support will be given by regional CoE teams. Leading a team of three, this individual will play a critical to execute global HR strategies and ensure the application of effective processes and procedures.  

The Individual

Experience in a fast moving and lean manufacturing environment is essential as is working in a matrix reporting environment within a multinational corporation. Deep tactical HR skills are needed to succeed in this role as is a healthy amount of drive and determination to focus on operational excellence. We are looking for an individual who is an enterprising person and able to inspire those around them. The individual will need to have a track record of achieving results in generalist roles and having managed the execution of items on the HR agenda.
