This is a growing business, with a very successful and complete operation in the supply chain and distribution industry. With close to 30,000 employees in the overall business, it continues to go through rapid changes from a HR, operations and business perspective. This is a very well-established organization, and with that aggressive but realistic business objectives, it needs an extremely well experienced International HR Business Lead.
Based in Zurich, this person will report into the business head directly and functionally into the HR VP for the group. It goes without saying that this is a matrix organization and so there will be other key stakeholders sitting across various countries and regions. This is a sole contributor role with very good CoE support and so whilst its strategic focus is key, there will be times when a more hands-on and operational approach will be required. This is an exciting time and it is look at taking the business and people to the next level.
You will need to be commercially strong and ideally be a business operator with a strong HR strategist background working in an ambiguous environment with strong leaders and a committed workforce going through significant change. A proven track record as a business partner along with solid tenure in the FMCG, Manufacturing, or technical industries is of importance. In addition, extensive international experience is required. Essentially, you could find yourself in Europe or in the US. However, you will be based in Switzerland and be required to travel around 30% of the time.
