We are representing a leading international IT & T company. The business is looking for an APAC HR Director to look after a population of 2,000 in China and in the APAC region. This position will be based in its local headquarter in Beijing.
As the APAC HR Director, you will lead a team of over 15 and cover all HR functions and provide strategic HR directions across multiple cities. Reporting to the Global HR Director and business leaders, this role requires a competent person who knows the laws, structures and inner workings in China and APAC. In terms of the knowledge, you should ideally have experience working in an environment where rules and guidelines can be important. As for the soft skills, you will need to have leadership and collaboration skills. Excellent communication and influencing skills in both Chinese and English is important in order to ensure a successful career in this company.
The successful candidate should have extensive experience in China and APAC and should be aware of the complex multi-products operations. You will have a proven track-record of working in industries with matrix reporting lines. Also being comfortable working with various leaders across a diverse business and geography is critical as well.
