The Company

We have been working with this company in multiple global locations as part of its strategic transformation. It is a well-respected leader in the Logistics and Supply Chain sector operating in more than 50 countries and with revenues in excess of US$2 billion. As part of a continued effort to provide first-class support to its dynamic business leaders during a period of change, the CHRO is looking to hire a seasoned HR leader to execute the global strategy across the North America market. This is a key market for future growth and the business has already seen some significant additions to its client base in the last two years. The role is based in Southwestern US.

The Role

Reporting to the CHRO and dotted line to the North America business lead, the individual will drive the next stage of the HR strategy across multiple sites. He/she will work closely with the Field HR team and general managers to ensure that change initiatives associated with talent management, learning and development and organizational capability and design are carried out and executed with a high degree of accountability and urgency. The business is looking for a partner who can build trust and credibility quickly and deliver against challenging timetables. This role would suit an experienced HR leader who thrives on empowering their team to meet deadlines and developing their potential.  

The Individual

We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and agile HR leader who can switch gears between the tactical and the strategic and drive change. Experience in transportation/logistics is needed with a strong preference for heavy Third-Party Logistics (3PL). Robust North America (particularly US) exposure is required. Some exposure to project/program management would be beneficial. The ability to build trust and credibility and demonstrate this by delivering results is essential to succeeding in this role. A good thread of experience in organizational design, effectiveness and capability is desirable as is an ability to design and roll out training and development programs across multiple sites.
