Our client is a well-regarded global organisation with a reputation for innovation. The business is focused on high quality manufacturing and engineering and has a growing presence in Germany and Europe.
This role will be based in Munich and will require some travel. The main bulk of this role will be handling complex labor relations and organisational design challenges. As the Country Head of HR you will be involved in setting the strategic direction for the German business across sales, engineering and other corporate functions, exploring efficiency improvements across the plant footprint. There is team management responsibility overseeing a developing team and this person must successfully coach and mentor team members to fulfil their potential. The talent agenda is also prevalent and you should spearhead the organisational efforts to attract, retain and engage the best talent in the market.
To be successful in this role, this individual will need to have a track record in employee relations and ideally be an employment lawyer by background. They should have experience in dynamic MNC innovation-led environments. Whilst the role is quite focused on employee relations there is also a need for generalist HR experience, preferably with some talent management expertise.
