The Company

With a long successful history, our client is a major global consumer goods company going through a period of positive transformation and is upgrading a number of the Business and HR functions globally. They are currently looking for a passionate HR Leader to be their new HR Director for Northern Europe.

The Role

Based at the UK operations in Cambridgeshire, you will be responsible for leading UK & Ireland HR operations as well as managing the Northern European region. With the help of your team, you will be responsible for a broad number of HR topics across the region, including recruitment, talent initiatives, learning and development and generally promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.  

The Individual

You are an experienced HR Leader familiar with managing regional teams in a highly matrixed MNC environment, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing. You are familiar with managing change management initiatives or large-scale HR re-organisations. Experience with service centre models is key. You’ll have demonstrable abilities in managing global teams and strategic stakeholder relationships in a metrics driven organisation. This role requires a solid knowledge of UK labour laws as a must have, and preferably wider European industrial relations topics.
