Our client is a leading global consumer goods company with revenues in excess of US$8bn. As a result of a large-scale HR transformation aimed at improving the effectiveness of HR support to the business, there exists a need to for a seasoned and strategic HR Business Partner to support Supply Chain Operations globally.  Having worked across European and APAC markets with this dynamic organization, we are looking forward to once again assisting it to build out its HR bench strength. This role will be based in North Carolina and have responsibility for more than 20 countries worldwide.

The Role

Serving as the strategic HR Business Partner to the Global Head of Supply Chain, he or she will liaise successfully with the regional and country HR teams and Centers of Excellence to drive talent and organizational strategies for this 14,000 person global population. Building lasting and credible relationships with management at all levels, he or she will build a high performance driven culture which reflects business and operational needs. Key responsibilities include talent management, leadership development and workforce planning strategies, organizational design and effectiveness, performance management, compensation and benefits planning and enhancing employee and labor relations initiatives. Furthermore, he or she will provide guidance and coaching to managers and implement key capability building strategies and programs. This is an individual contributor role and therefore requires extensive stakeholder management.  

The Individual

The successful applicant will be a seasoned HR Generalist who can demonstrate a blend of strategic and tactical business partnering experience gained within a mid to large cap manufacturing organization. A proven track record of leading talent development programs, talent reviews, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives is essential. International work experience in Europe, LATAM or APAC is preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills, cultural sensitivity and drive to succeed are all traits necessary to possess. Exposure to plant operations is highly desirable. Above all, he or she needs to be execution oriented, self-motivated, able to influence and make difficult to deliver real change.
