The Company

We are working on a critical hiring need which will have a lasting impact on our client’s competitive market position. It is a multi-billion-dollar global consumer goods company going through a period of positive change which has highlighted the need to upgrade and upskill key positions across Business and HR functions globally. Identifying the right talent will help drive performance and create new opportunities for growth for this organization. The CHRO is seeking a seasoned and commercially aware Global Talent Acquisition lead to play an integral role in the overall talent strategy. The role will be based in the Southeastern part of the US and require limited global travel.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and driving the talent acquisition strategy across all lines of business globally. This will require working closely with business and HR leaders to understand the broader strategic workforce plan and identify existing talent capabilities, gaps in talent pipelines, leadership succession plans and strategically critical hiring needs. He/she will serve as the organization’s full lifecycle Executive Recruiter for Director, VP and Executive level searches and build out and manage a team of recruiters to execute broader talent requirements. There will be the opportunity to utilize external vendors for specialist hires, key markets, and business lines where there is the need to scale with some flexibility. He/she will also manage campus recruiting strategies and programs. There will be an increased focus on assessing the ROI of talent acquisition strategies and so focus will be given to monitoring performance against metrics. This individual will also work closely with Talent Management and Learning & Development leaders to form a more integrated talent plan.

The Individual

This is a unique opportunity requiring a more holistic view of talent acquisition. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate either HR Operations or HR Business Partner exposure. This could mean that an HR leader held as part of their role core recruiting responsibilities or at the very least was responsible for rolling out a global recruiting strategy. Experience gained within a fast paced, results oriented matrix organization is essential. A proven record of accomplishment in working with business leaders and aiding the development and execution of talent/workforce plans is desirable as is success in delivering on challenging Executive level searches. Strong internal and external relationship building skills are key. He/she should be able to demonstrate an ability to handle change and react to commercial demands. This role will suit an HR leader who enjoys the challenges of building talent capability for a leading multinational.

Unless the advertisement specifies otherwise, only HR Professionals who are legally able to work in this country can be considered.
