Our client is a global company that develops, manufactures and markets essential equipment for construction industries. They are the world leader and a truly reputable company. With an employee base of over 60,000 and a revenue of over US$10 Billion, they are quickly growing in the region. Their China operation is looking for a competent person to lead their HR function.
This position reports directly to the President, and functionally to the Vice President, Human Resources for China. This HR leader will be a true business partner. With a Generalist scope supporting several thousand employees, this position plays a critical leadership role. The individual will have responsibility for employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, organisational development and engagement. In addition the leader will play an integral role aligning and driving the company culture.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish and execute a strategic agenda as well as the ability to engage and coach a big team of HR associates day to day. This position requires a bachelor degree, prefers a master’s degree as well as strong English speaking and writing abilities. Large MNC company experience is required and those who have the ability to relocate in the future for career advancement will be an advantage. The position can work out of Beijing office, with frequent travel to Tianjin.
