A success story in its own right, this European headquartered FMCG business is recognised as one of the more nimble and entrepreneurial in its industry. With around 5000 people globally, this business has grown significantly in the last five years from both acquisition and organic growth. The predominant businesses are across Europe although it is truly an international business with an eye for talent and a hunger for continuous improvement. It’s a complex organisation with a multitude of business lines and has a very relationship based environment.
This role will be based in Germany, around 20 minutes south of Munich. In the matrix environment this role will report directly to the Business Head and will be leading a small team whilst reporting functionally into the cluster HR Director along with developing key relationship’s into corporate. The role will be commercially focused and form an essential part of the business across the region. Critical areas of focus will be talent management, business analysis, culture development, workforce planning and people strategy across the business. Importantly, it is envisaged that this role will develop into a bigger scope in the coming 12-18 months so international mobility is very much preferred down the line.
Ideally, you will come from FMCG, manufacturing or distribution orientated organsiations that are sales and marketing focused. You will have a minimum of ten years of experience in HR and preferably an international background. A strong overview of the region from a geographic perspective will also be essential and you will need to have worked as part of a truly international business. Prior leadership experience will be a real advantage. Ideally, you will be in Germany currently or open to returning to the area.
