Our client is a FTSE 250 engineering organisation with a growing global footprint in established and emerging markets. They are transforming HR and in the process of building a more robust HR organisation. Africa is a key market for them and the growth potential is exciting.
Working closely with the business, this individual will lead a team focused on driving growth and success in the Africa market. It’s a change, organisational development and design, business partnering mandate with a key focus on building capability and setting up some core HR process. Key markets include South Africa, Egypt, Ghana and Nigeria. This role can be based in Africa, Paris or the United Kingdom.
This individual will need to be able to deal with high degrees of ambiguity and lack of structure. It’s a brown-fields set up so they do need to be able to augment the current HR set up and significantly improve it. The talent agenda is key and the role requires someone who has some experience of organisational development and design, and talent, as well as having an HR business partnering mindset. Ideally you will have had some exposure to the African market. Someone who has worked in a matrix environment with strong influencing skills would suit. Ideally someone who has a track record with engineering and industrial organisations.
