Our client is a global leader in consumer products and services with global revenues of more than US$10 Billion and operations in more than 20 countries. Because of recent transformation efforts to streamline global recruiting procedures and bring them closer to the business, a unique opportunity has arisen to upgrade the South America Resourcing function. The role could be based in several locations, with Sau Paulo (Brazil) a strong preference. It will have responsibility for all lines of business across South America in addition to global projects.
Reporting to the Head of Resourcing, Americas, he or she will strive to build a best in class recruitment function and transform the perspective of the team to have a global mindset. Managing a team of 5-6 Resourcing Associates he or she will have responsibility for the oversight and management of regional recruitment efforts across several South American countries. Working closely with Regional and Global Business leaders, he or she will also coordinate with counterparts in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific on critical hires up to Vice President level. Success in this role will depend on the ability to build credibility with business leaders and functional experts and look beyond the recruitment cycle to foresee the impact of human capital on the business and its growth plans. Furthermore, he or she will drive high volume and complex recruitment processes, as well as strategies to reduce spend and reliance on external vendors. As an ambassador of the company, a key part of the role will be to improve employer branding, visibility and attractiveness of the organization across various media platforms and build strategies that allow for effective talent pipelining.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Resourcing specialist able to perform in a large global multinational environment. Experience executing recruitment strategies at a global level is highly desirable as is exposure to both high volume and senior technical hires. Industry background is less of a concern. This role suits an entrepreneurial type who can build credibility with senior stakeholders across the business and optimize the performance of the team.
