The business focuses on e-commerce with a dynamic and growth-orientated strategy planned for 2018. They are looking for an International Group Head of Learning & Development leader to join them and take ownership for the CoE. This is a new role with plenty of scope to shape the focus.
As the International Group Head of Learning & Development, the incumbent will report to the CHRO while managing a small team of specialists based in the US and Europe. It is essential to drive change with a uniform approach to development and training through stakeholder influence. The business is going through significant transformation, so this role will have plenty of accountability for curriculum design along with involvement in succession and talent planning.
You should have a broad learning and development background, especially across technology and sales orientated employees. It is essential you have worked in a mixture of large and mid-sized companies, there will be a ‘hands-on’ feel to the work as the function is new. On the other hand, there will be the opportunity to be involved in mergers and acquisitions as well as divestment. In addition, team management experience and exposure outside Europe would be useful.
