We are working with a global organization to help find a Global Learning Expert. This company is a market leader in its field with a diverse product range and a very strong European history. The organization is very well established, tracing back many years in history, and is known not only for the quality of its products and its strong business ethics and values, but also for its ongoing focus on people initiatives.
This position reports to the VP of Talent and is responsible for learning and leadership, as well as team and individual performance improvement processes. Located in Amsterdam, the role will require excellent facilitation and people skills and the ability to work within a multicultural and rapidly changing environment. The role will cover global markets across both mature and growth markets. The individual will need to work seamlessly with HR colleagues across talent and HR partnering and build stronger bridges with business colleagues across the board.
The individual we are seeking will have a strong track record of success in learning and leadership on an international basis preferably having lived and worked across more than one region. Strong commercial acumen will be important, and the ability to influence senior leadership is critical. We are looking for a bright but pragmatic and practical individual who can apply ‘commonsense’ as opposed to heavy theory, in-ine with the markets covered. Strong international experience in a mature matrix growth environment would be desirable. Some strong technical learning expertise is important, but equally so is a leader who can build collaboration across the business and HR.
