The Company

Our client is a well-known commodities business with employees in over 60 countries around the world. They are proud of their multicultural and diverse community they have created and encourage their own to excel in the business. This role will be located in London.

The Role

This role with report to the Head of HR Business Partners and will require some travel. It will be responsible for two large business units and cover multiple locations. These locations will have local HR teams in place so there will be a need to build solid relationships there. This is a broad role that requires an ability to be hands on and strategic. There will be two very distinct client groups to oversee, one more blue collar and one white collar so agility is required. This person will drive and oversee the comp process for this client group and also lead strategic talent and performance discussions. The key will be to partner effectively with the business leaders.  

The Individual

To be successful in this role this individual will need to be resilient and will need to be able to build strong relationships with the business and HR colleagues. There will be times when there are high pressure situations and having to deal with difficult characters so a thick skin will be needed. Being able to relate to a corporate leadership environment, as well as a manufacturing environment is crucial in this role.
