ChapmanCG Employees Earn a Spot at 2016 Rio Paralympic Games

ChapmanCG is proud to have two employees qualify for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. Former ASEAN Para Games gold medalists, Jovin Tan and Qian Yin Yap, are two of the 12 athletes who will collectively represent Singapore in Rio. Overall, the Singapore representatives are set to compete in six sports, which is a new record for the country.

“We will be taking part in the Skud 18 class, a two-person Keelboat category. The Skud 18 is an 18-foot long keelboat, 400 kg with three sails. There will be 11 boats (other countries) in total, including Singapore,” said Tan.

Jovin and Qian Yin proved unbeatable in the 2014 Para Games in Korea, when they made history bringing home Singapore’s first gold medal in para-sailing. Last year, the pair, along with ChapmanCG employees Glen Tan, Ben Sim and Kumar Adiapatham took part in the ASEAN Para Games in Singapore.

We are extremely proud to have two members of the ChapmanCG team qualify for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. Our culture at ChapmanCG strives to balance professional and personal interests, and we look forward to supporting Jovin and Qian Yin in their pursuit as they head off to Rio.
