Providing complex services and solutions to a multinational client base in more than 50 countries worldwide, our client prides itself in being innovative, first to market and a leader in driving a culture of performance and engagement across the enterprise. Supporting a region of more than 20,000 employees, the CHRO Americas will drive the people agenda for a set of businesses which contribute approximately 40% of the group’s overall revenue.
Reporting to the EVP CHRO and matrix reporting to the America’s CEO, the individual will have responsibility for all regional HR Business Partners and a wider team of more than 200 HR professionals. As a member of the Global HR Leadership team, and the Americas Executive Committee, the individual will design and deliver the people strategy aligned to business outcomes, and provide a unified, global approach to talent across the entire organization. Key duties will include driving engagement throughout the organization and serving as a strong advocate of the brand and employee value proposition, internally and externally. Supporting five key business lines through periods of change and ongoing M&A activities, the role will deliver best-in-class HR services across key areas of recruitment, performance management, compensation, and talent development. It will be critical that the individual also champions diversity and inclusion initiatives enabling the organization to be ready for the impact of digital change. Matrix reports into this role include the CoEs of Talent, Rewards and HR Business Services.
In order to be successful in this role, the individual will need to demonstrate experience of leading end to end HR across a large scale, matrix environment where business demands are high and change and evolution are constant. Exposure to leading enterprise wide change and transformation initiatives are essential. It is strongly preferred that the individual has been exposed to business leadership within a world-class organization known for its human resources capability and long-term focus on talent development. A proven track record in customer service focused industries is desirable, as is supporting C-Suite level Executives. The role will be sympathetic to business needs, aware of economic influencers and be focused on delivering results that positively impact the business environment. It is essential that the individual comes with first-rate communication and stakeholder management skills, can influence all levels of management and is highly analytical with a deep appreciation of data usage and sense of bottom-line governance. The hiring manager will be extremely selective as this individual will shape the regional HR strategy for years to come.
