Our client is a global e-commerce industry leader utilizing innovative mobile commerce technologies to provide best in class customer service. As one of the fastest-growing consumer internet companies in the world, our client is undertaking a harmonization of its global talent acquisition function. In order to bring in the best talent from the market, the company is looking to hire an experienced Senior Technical Recruitment Lead to lead talent acquisition efforts across all of the Americas business groups and sites. This role is located in San Francisco, however there may be some flexibility in supporting a commuting arrangement for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Director of Global Recruiting, this individual contributor will drive technical hiring strategies, partnering with the US SVP of Technology. The role will assess the current efficiencies of technical recruiting and build a strategic plan to deliver against the needs of the business. The role will also support senior management with projects and play a key role in technical recruitment for all divisions. To be successful in this role, the individual will need to embrace change and build credibility with business leaders and functional experts. This role suits an experienced Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter who has technical acumen and is experienced in accessing technical level talent within highly competitive industries.
To succeed, the individual will need to possess extensive experience working in technical recruitment. The right individual needs to be able to adapt to a changing environment, and switch gears effectively between process and strategy. They must come to the table with practical solutions to talent challenges and customize approaches for different labor markets. Previous experience recruiting in the information technology or e-commerce space is preferred.
