There’s a lot of talk about millennials in the workplace. Some employers are excited about this tech-savvy employee base, while others are unsure how best to interact with them. And to make matters more confusing, there’s contrasting reports about what millennials want from an employer. Are they motivated by pay? Creative and open cultures? Less hierarchical structures? Or do they simply want a seat at the table—more control over the types of work they do and when and where they do it? Perhaps it’s a combination. One thing is certain and that’s there’s no easy answer.
