BeathChapman Stakes a Claim in Europe and the Middle East

Building on a successful 2012 launch in Asia, our sister company BeathChapman is expanding to new regions and has now opened its first international office in Istanbul. Literally straddling Europe and Asia, Turkey will serve as an excellent regional hub for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Central Asian markets.

Overseeing these markets will be Andrew Bailey, Managing Partner. Originally from Australia, Bailey has lived in Turkey for over seven years, and brings with him a wealth of global search experience, in addition to speaking Turkish. Previously, Andrew has worked for publicly listed search firms in Australia, Singapore and the Middle East.

Matt Beath, Managing Director at BeathChapman, stated, “We are capitalising on our success in APAC and the emerging markets, launching the new business in Istanbul to build out our EMEA presence. We chose Istanbul due to its strategic location for both Europe and the Middle East, enabling us to provide a high quality of service to both our clients and candidates on a global scale. Andrew’s local experience and knowledge, as well as his passion for building brands in emerging markets, make him an excellent addition to the BeathChapman team.”

Of the opportunity in Turkey, Bailey commented, “Turkey has enjoyed considerable growth over recent years and continues to encourage foreign investors in various sectors. Given this growth, the demand for talent has increased significantly, with many multinational firms investing in first class HR programs to acquire, develop and retain top talent. We look forward to helping our clients meet these needs, while building the business throughout the region, where we see real opportunity.”

BeathChapman Turkey will be focussed on senior level placements in management, country and regional positions across various sectors including Financial and Professional Services, Industrial and Energy, Technology & Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals and Consumer. The business will oversee Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS.)
