The Company

Our client is a global financial services firm with more than 6,000 employees in APAC. We are helping to appoint a new APAC HR Head to be based in Hong Kong. This is a build and growth focused firm with a clear agenda for the region.

The Role

As the APAC HR Head you will manage a team, own the HR strategy for APAC and work closely with the global HR leadership team to balance the unique needs of the region with global processes. The role will report jointly to the APAC business head and the international HR leader. China, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore will be the key focus with less focus on the smaller Asian countries.  

The Individual

You should be an HR leader who has led a regional team covering the key markets in APAC plus teams of 30+. Exposure to financial services is important but there is a particular interest in individuals who have a mixture of industry experience. Digital transformation for the benefit of customers and employees is a hot topic, exposure to similar change management and innovation would be ideal.
