The Company

Our client is a leader in the consumer products industry with global revenues of more than US$5 Billion and operations in more than 30 countries. Because of recent changes in the global resourcing model, a unique opportunity has arisen to lead resourcing capabilities for a burgeoning South American business. The role could be based in one of two locations in the region, with the preference being Chile. This location will have responsibility for all lines of business across South America.

The Role

Reporting to the Americas Head of Recruiting based in the U.S., this role will transform the current resourcing model to align to the global strategy and bring to bear a global mindset to the all parts of the recruitment lifecycle. Managing a small team of 3-4 Recruitment Leads, he/she will have responsibility for the oversight and management of regional recruitment efforts across several South American countries. Working closely with regional and global business leaders, he/she will coordinate with counterparts in the U.S. on critical hires across all functions and business lines at SVP, VP, and Senior Director levels. Below this level, he/she will be required to manage the relationship with an established RPO provider, ensuring effective execution and achievement of service level agreements and associated metrics. As an ambassador of the company, a key part of the role will be to improve employer branding, visibility, and attractiveness of the organization across various media platforms and build strategies that allow for effective talent pipelining.  

The Individual

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have gained broad recruitment experience within a large global multinational environment. Regional or global experience is strongly preferred. Exposure to both high volume and senior technical hires is desirable as is tenure managing a global RPO relationship. Industry background is less of a concern. This role suits an entrepreneurial type who can build credibility with senior stakeholders across the business and optimize the performance of the team. Enthusiasm, energy and commercial savvy are prerequisites for success. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Spanish is essential.
