Our client is an American multinational manufacturing company founded in the late 1800s. It is now a pivotal global brand in manufacturing, in the arena of automobiles, commercial trucks, light trucks, motorcycles, SUVs, race cars, airplanes and farm equipment.
This role will cover all non-manufacturing functions for the South Africa business. Functions include Sales & Marketing, Legal and Supply Chain, and the role will report directly in to HR Director (Middle East & Africa). The individual will join the operation at a time of great transition and major change.
We are looking for a true strategic HR Business Lead and an agent of change. Strong business partnering experience is needed. It is critical that candidates are proven to be able to work successfully within a matrix set-up, and within a heavily process-driven environment. We have noted that this individual should have sufficient potential and career runway to be on the Head of HR for South Africa succession plan, yet should feel that this opportunity is very exciting in itself and to some degree, be stretched by it.
