The Company

This is a global MNC and a Fortunate 500 company in the industrial manufacturing sector and a leader in its field. The company operates in more than 70 countries globally and has multiple business lines.

The Role

Based in Shanghai, the role will be leading the Human Resources team for China and also double hatting as the regional business partner for one of the largest business units. This individual will be a strong HR Business Lead to the local and regional business leaders for that particular business unit. He or she will also manage the full spectrum of HR across key businesses in China. This role will play a crucial role in developing synergy and consistency across multiple business lines and ensure an effective HR function for China. He or she will build strong, credible and strategic relationships with the leadership team and be seen as a role model for the country/regional HR team.  

The Individual

We are looking for a strong HR Generalist with both regional experience and solid China HR operations foundation. A well rounded leader who can work at senior levels but also be very hands-on is required. He or she should have experience working regionally and should be comfortable facing out internationally. Mandarin and English language fluency will be required. Experience working for a U.S. based global organization, preferably in the manufacturing industry will be highly desirable.
