Reporting locally to the CHRO, this individual will be the key HR figure of the Japan organization and depending on the seniority of the individual, a team of 4~5 direct reports as well. This role will cover a wide variety of HR issues for this company which is growing rapidly. Japan has much autonomy and this individual will be a core pillar of the HR strategy and growth of the business. Career path can lead to the CHRO of the business or to regional roles as well as the company continues to grow.
Ideally this individual should have experience as an HRBP or head of HR in a small to mid-sized organization with management experience of several staff. A strong command of business level English and ability to deal with complex HR issues, and a background with C&B is highly valued.
