The Company

A European FMCG multinational with a strong APAC presence and growth trajectory, looking for a highly capable, experienced HR Business Lead in Port Klang.

The Role

This is a key role within a new HR leadership structure being developed in the region. The role leads HR for their Port Klang site and will be responsible for working closely along senior leaders in Malaysia and the regional hub in Singapore. You will be responsible for the delivery of value added HR services directly tied to the company’s business objectives to support Port Klang site leads, the APAC office and Country HR operations. You will play a prominent role in leading the local HR team in executing HR transformation strategies aimed at attracting and retaining the right talents, and increasing employee success and satisfaction.  

The Individual

This individual must serve as an expert on a wide range of HR topics and oversee the development of the Shared Service Centre for the APAC region. You are expected to initiate and lead best practice sharing, process improvement in HR operations, identify development areas and provides coaching as needed in support of the company’s growth and sustainability strategy. The ideal individual will have the ability to drive behavioral change and approach the role with a pro-active and result oriented mindset. You’ll need to be a highly competent HR Business Lead and able to implement strategic HR plans and solutions. Possessing strong business partnering skills is essential and the ability to credibly engage, challenge and advise senior stakeholders within a diverse team will be key.
