The Company

Our client is a leader and essential partner in the Business Services industry. The business operates in over 120 countries across 6 continents and is strong in innovation, capability and ongoing operational excellence. Maintaining a focus on people development, combined with strong financial results, the organisation has a clear focus on where it wants to compete and is making the necessary investments to ensure success. This is a business that has a very high level of retention in a very competitive environment where turnover normally poses a huge challenge. With this comes an environment where there is a lot of pride and engagement.

The Role

The position is based in London with travel expected mainly across Europe and Asia but also across the US. The position will have a key focus on leadership development and talent across the business, but is essentially an HR leadership role, with team responsibilities of around 35 people including cluster HR Directors, HR Generalists and specialists mainly in recruitment. The total population is around 7,500 people in these two regions and the HR structure mirrors that of the business. As with most matrix organisations there is an extended indirect team across the market and importantly numerous stakeholders to partner, influence and enjoy working with.

The Individual

The leader we are seeking will have worked extensively internationally, ideally having worked in more than one region, preferably Europe and Asia within leading multinational companies. Experience in the services environment including IT, Hospitality, and Customer Services is preferable. Either way, the individual will enjoy a fast-paced and responsive culture where they can add significant value across the HR spectrum and be comfortable in bringing innovation, inspiration and synergies to the business. It is critical that you can demonstrate substantial practical, first-hand HR leadership experience as well as preferably having worked for an organisation that is well regarded in terms of HR and people strategies.

Unless the advertisement specifies otherwise, only HR Professionals who are legally able to work in this country can be considered.
