To be based in Sydney this newly scoped role will sit at the corporate level overseeing the HR functions across APAC. This will require you to ensure HR is aligned across all of the businesses in the region and that corporate functions including strategic and operational HR is seamless. Additionally, you will ensure your unique regional group is provided with business partnering on remuneration, relocations, performance reviews, talent development and succession. You will also align HR activities including global reporting and collaboration with global teams.
You are a proven performer in times of change, growth and ambiguity with the ability to oversee complex structures and operations that have individual HR teams supporting. The ideal industry background is investment banking, asset management or private equity. The mandate of corporate is to connect the dots, be the glue, so it will be your preparedness to use influence that will make the difference. Managing a small direct team, you will be a seasoned HR leader experienced across all aspects of HR. Your ability to work in teams and be in the weeds with senior business leaders is vital. This role will be the greatest challenge of your career to date.
