We are excited to be working with a new client in the Consumer Goods and Services sector. A globally recognized brand, the business is looking to further its excellent reputation for innovative Talent initiatives by adding an experienced Talent & Organizational Development professional to the HR team. This role will be based in New York and have regional responsibility for the Americas.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent & Organizational Development, this role will play a key role in developing and implementing an organization and talent management strategy to meet the current and future needs of the business. Ultimate responsibility will be to provide organizational design and effectiveness support for strategic business initiatives and to increase the organization’s capacity to manage change. Key duties will be to lead and direct the implementation of talent and development initiatives including succession planning, leadership development, performance management, HIPO strategies, learning and development initiatives and employee engagement. Furthermore, this individual will need to build effective relationships with HR business partners, to ensure that Organizational Development & Talent initiatives are aligned with enterprise business goals.  

The Individual

Ideally, we are looking for an individual who possesses a strong academic background with a PhD in Organizational Psychology. Demonstrable experience leading organizational development for an enterprise with multiple business units and a proven track record of increasing organizational effectiveness is required. Extensive experience consulting with business leaders and coaching them to be effective sponsors of change is essential. In addition, the ability to design and implement succession planning, high potential development and leadership development programs is necessary. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential. Experience gained in the Consumer Goods sector is highly desirable as is previous exposure to an individual contributor role.
