Our client is an international industrial organisation with a global workforce, which due to recent M&A activity is currently more than 25,000 people and growing. We are looking to appoint a seasoned practitioner to lead HR in Belgium, a key market for the group. This role will partner closely with the business.
Based in Clermont, Belgium you will be a key member of the EMEA HR team and responsible for managing all HR operations at the plant in Belgium. Acting as a business partner, you will provide functional support for HR strategy including but not limited to recruitment, talent management, and employee relations processes. As HR Manager for Belgium, you will contribute to formulation of the group business strategy and achievement of wider company goals.
We are looking for a strong HR Generalist with experience in working for multinational companies in a CoE environment, ideally in the industrial/manufacturing sector in a plant site environment. Additionally, you will have a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ leadership experience and you must have a solid background in Belgian employment law/works council. You have a proven track record in developing a culture of talent and best practice, to enhance employee engagement and a positive work environment.
