Our client is a major global luxury goods company. Japan is one of its biggest markets and the domestic business is strongly linked to headquarters in Europe.
This role will lead the business as it continues to grow which means strategic organization development and leadership development will be key. The role will manage an HR team of two locally, work with the brand’s GM and HQ alongside other HR Directors/Managers within the same group, so balancing relationships among stakeholders is key. Applying HR policies and solutions that are both innovative and creative to keep up with the business needs will be important.
Strong communication is needed to be effective while working with HQ, as well as locally to prove credibility and influence amongst the leadership. The speed of the business also demands need for multi-tasking across multiple HR projects.
