The Company

Our client is a fascinating organization with a unique culture centered around teamwork and driving commercial performance. A globally recognized brand, it designs and manufactures market leading products for use in the industrial sector. Headquartered overseas, this organization can boast operations in more than 100 countries and a global population in excess of 20,000. The Americas region is a core focus of its growth strategy in 2018 and houses a large Sales & Marketing team which this role will need to support. With a strong talent philosophy they are looking to hire a commercially minded HR Director as part of the global talent HR pipeline. This role will be located in in the Dallas, Texas area.

The Role

Reporting into the SVP HR and with a dotted line into the General Manager for the Americas market, the individual will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals while driving the HR strategy. As a key member of the executive management team and a partner to the business, he/she will bring a broad business mind set to the forefront of discussions to effectively drive strategies across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management and Diversity and Inclusion. With a high level of visibility globally, this person will also be contributing and driving the overall global HR strategy while taking ownership on a number of global initiatives.  

The Individual

We are seeking a commercial and business savvy individual with previous international experience working with an industrial sales population. You may have previously held an operational role and be experienced reading and interpreting P&L statements with the ability to advise on business strategies. Without question, you will bring a depth of functional HR expertise and be comfortable having a seat at the table to influence and drive HR strategies. As a successor to the SVP HR, it is critical that this person will be internationally mobile with the flexibility to relocate overseas in the future. With high level of drive and a clear and crisp communication style you will thrive working in a high energy environment. This role position will require someone to travel 35-50% of the time.
