It’s an exciting time to be joining this global hi-tech organisation. With over 16,000 employees globally, this company is present in 170 locations across 16 countries. The company requires a commercially minded HR Director to lead the end-to-end HR function across a business unit of 750 employees in the USA. Due to rapid growth, the employee base is expected to grow to 1,000 in the short-term.

The Role

This HR Director role is located near Portland, Oregon. Reporting to the Global Business Unit HR Director in Europe, this person will drive the strategic people agenda, including succession management, talent development, employee engagement and performance management. This person will partner with the leadership teams in the U.S. to drive culture change. An important element of this role will be leading and developing the U.S. HR team and ensuring compliance with company values, processes, U.S. laws and regulations.  

The Individual

This person must have worked as an HR Director across the U.S. and have extensive experience in a global organisation. Reporting to leaders offshore and ability to work in a global matrix will be essential. Experience working across populations of R&D, engineering or technical colleagues would be preferred.
