Our client is a major global retailer of luxury products operating in over 13 countries with 400+ stores, situated in a remote location of Japan.
Reporting indirectly to the Region Vice President for Learning & Development (L&D) and directly to the HR Director for the Japan Division, the L&D Manager plans and leads the Japan Division’s L&D function with a key mission to grow the company’s culture and talent pool. Key activities include; planning and delivery of L&D programs across multiple business units, geographies and functions, contribute to global L&D strategy, and serving as the lead L&D consultant for the entire Japan organisation.
Our client is looking for a seasoned L&D professional with experience overseeing a large organisation of 600+ employees. Experience with program management, instructional design or training management with relevant technical L&D experience is highly desired. Someone able to lead a team under pressing deadlines and challenging tasks.
