This global company has a broad footprint across more than 30 countries. It has a diverse blue and white collar workforce and is at an exciting stage of its transformation. The company is now seeking a Global HR Director for one of its divisions to underpin growth, particularly in Asia and North America.
This role will focus on developing and driving strategic and operational HR initiatives across the world. As the trusted advisor to the global leadership team, this HR Head will partner closely with the Divisional MD to bed down the new business HR operating model and transformation agenda. Management of industrial relations in the U.S. is an important part of this remit. Other key elements of this role are talent selection, succession planning, organisational development, engagement and capability. This position will lead a team of around five people.
A track record of success in a global or multi-regional HR role in the industrial sector would be ideal. Strong experience in transformation, OD/talent management and some IR knowledge is mandatory. It is critical to have a track record of success working in a complex global matrix. This role would suit someone with strong strategic thinking skills as well as a preparedness to roll up the sleeves and work on operational HR matters.
